Are you currently overweight? Many people on the heavy side of the scale are always seeking a quick weight loss diet to trim their body weight down, and in very fast fashion. The biggest diets, crazy crash diets, the most popular diets – basically allow you to drop some quick pounds, which is only temporary, and in the long run, after you’re done starving, or drinking pineapple juice…. you gain the weight back.
It’s a shame, really!
These quick weight loss diets are very popular with people that will soon be attending a one night event. Or a few day vacation affair. they put on their best show (to lose a few pounds) and then when the event arrives, they either pig out (if it’ a vacation), or they go home after they’ve fooled “old friends” and eat their butts off. Water is the primary weight lost during these types of diets. A person may lose 10-15 pounds over a 2 week stretch. It can really get some folks charged up…
Fats are not lost on these diets, which is why they are not a good long term approach. Fools gold? Once you lose the motivation, you will get all of your weight back and then some. The reason: Your body is starving. Your metabolism has slowed. And once you get to eating, you will NOT be able to stop! This is a bad place. This is where your body goes crazy.
All fad diets, or new diets, are an extension of what’s already out there. The best diet plans are the ones that are simple, that you can stick to long term. Time and again, you begin and fail on your dieting endeavors when you try to get results too quikcly. Beginning a quick weight loss diet isn’t your best use of time.
It’s best to start with a firm footing on your desired outcome, not short-term gimmicks. You don’t have to be an expert, but you may choose to seek professional advice to begin your new diet smartly. This guarantees a better weight loss experience. If you’re not well, seek a doctor’s advice early on. But if you’re healthy then ease into a good program slowly. Then simply demand more out of yourself over time.
Exercise has been, and will always be, a great compliment to a good diet. In fact, they’re like two peas in a pod. When it comes to dieting, go light and easy, and stay on course.
